Buy My Sari will give you a full refund if your item was significantly not as described, damaged in transit or never arrives. Otherwise, all sales are final. The policies and systems we have in place are to protect both buyers and sellers.

Refund Policy

When you make a purchase on our website, you have 3 days after delivery to inform the Seller if the item has been misrepresented in any way by reporting the problem via the dashboard. Photographic evidence may be required to support your claim. If your claim is verified, you will receive an email requesting that you return the order back to the Seller in order to receive your refund. All returns must be shipped back within 5 days of receiving the email approval to be eligible for a refund.

If it is suspected that the Buyer has used, worn or otherwise contributed to the damage of an item, then the refund may be refused and the item returned to the Buyer. This may also incur further shipping fees depending on the Seller.

All returned items must be suitably packaged and in the exact condition they were in when they were sent.

What is covered

If any of the following pertain to your order, please report the problem via the order by clicking on the refund request button:

  • Item was significantly not as described
  • Damaged in transit
  • Item never arrived

If no claim is made within 3 days of delivery, the item will be deemed as being accepted by the Buyer in its condition with all sales being final and no refunds being provided.

What is not covered

If the item is just not your style or does not fit you, unfortunately, no return will be possible. You can always re-list the item on Buy My Sari!

Offline Transactions

Buy My Sari does not take any responsibility for any transactions completed off the Buy My Sari platform. When payment for the full value of items is not processed through the Buy My Sari platform, we cannot guarantee that both parties will ship and transact as promised. You bear all risks associated with any such transactions.

VIP Items

If you bought a VIP item (an item directly from Buy My Sari’s VIP service) you may return the item within 14 days from the delivery date, by notifying us through the dashboard or via email so that we can arrange collection. Please note that, unless the item is faulty or significantly not as described, the Buyer will be required to meet the cost of returning any item.

A standard £15 Buy My Sari handling charge is applied as we have to facilitate both Buyer and Seller's needs.


There are no refunds on listing fees.

If your item does not arrive within 7 days of purchase you will be automatically entitled to a refund.

If the order was cancelled either by the Seller or by Buy My Sari, you will be refunded the full amount including the postage automatically.

Return fees

Buyers cover the cost of the return postage unless agreed otherwise with the Sellers.

Returning an item

If you contact the Seller and agree with them on a refund, please provide or enter a valid tracking number against the order. As soon as the Seller receives the order, the refund will be issued to the Buyer.

If both parties cannot agree on a resolution, Buy My Sari will review the situation, and, if it appears that you’re eligible to receive a refund, you'll have 5 days to return the item to the Seller. Your refund will be processed once the Seller has received their returned item and acknowledged it within the dashboard.

Important note: If you miss the 5-day deadline to return the item, your order will be deemed completed and accepted.

You will be paid the refund via the method it was paid by you and it may take up to 15 working days for the refund to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank.

It is the responsibility of the Buyers to do their own due diligence and ask the Seller as many questions before purchasing an item.

Please ask the Seller for detailed guidance on size if required prior to purchase.

All items should be listed accurately as possible by Sellers on Buy My Sari, any defects should be clearly stated.

We suggest that items for return be sent via Royal Mail - Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm' Service or any other suitable courier with a tracked service. All the tracking information is to be updated on Buy My Sari.

Sellers cannot be held responsible for returned items being lost or damaged in the post. Buy My Sari recommends insuring packages when returning.

In the event of a non-genuine designer item being listed, with an intent to sell as a genuine, feedback should be given to Buy My Sari and the Seller will be blocked from listing further items.

If you need help, please notify us via email so we have a log, and we will do our best to resolve any issues or disputes.

We will contact the Seller for you, and ask them to solve any problems promptly.


Buy My Sari does not accept any liability with regards to individual terms made between the Buyer and Sellers.
